House stuff and Miles

We start out with a few more pics of Miles and then add some stuff we have done in the house, some of this is from last year, but I thought worth throwing out
Bumbo time!
Mexican!  But of course Miles was more fascinated by the TVs

Miles first trip out in the BOB stroller, just a walk to get an I acquainted with it and see how it all works, super awesome, cannot wait to go running with Miles in it

Last summer for the cats I put a bench under our kitchen windows, which also gave us some extra storage space, I still have not moved the vent, but I will get to it...  I realized I did not have a completely finished picture of it, but thankfully we had the one at the bottom that got enough of it to give a decent impression, we also have repainted the kitchen since it was originally installed as you will notice

The front landscaping, we are slowly getting there, started as weed central, then last summer we cleaned it up and planted some stuff, most of it died die to the super dry summer and then just last weekend we pulled the railing off, which opens it up and in my opinion makes it look much nicer (also after the picture was taken we weeded and now it looks nice again), next step repainting the columns!

One of my favorites, adding some extra space to the bathroom by cutting a hole in the wall!  It turned out pretty well and freed up some significant space!

And finally I am not the only one doing some great stuff, Callie has been cooking up a storm, delicious home made noodles and chocolate raspberry tort

Miles first trip to the Zoo

The weather was amazing today, thank goodness for spring time! So we decided to take Miles to the St. Louis Zoo for his first visit to get us and him out of the house.  He is a social little guy, not so much that he wants to meet and greet everybody, but he just likes being out and seeing new things and hearing the  general going ons of people all together.  The day took quite the toll on him though, 2 hours at the zoo led to a 3 plus hour nap when we got home, but all in all it was a great time.

No Miles, but my first visit to the Sea Lion exhibit, it was super cool!

3 Months of Miles!

Miles is just over three months now an just continues to grow like crazy and is becoming more and more of a little person every day, he loves to play, listen to music, is starting to enjoy sitting in his bumbo, but hates tummy time.

Waiting in line for the Easter bunny

So excited on Easter

Miles and his favorite toy, Bump the Monkey
